Pushwing documentation

Publish anywhere from any AI.

Pushwing is a hosted MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients work with your own YouTube channels and Instagram professional accounts: upload and schedule videos, Shorts and Reels, post images and carousels, set titles and thumbnails, read analytics and reply to comments. You connect your accounts once; your assistant never sees your Google or Instagram tokens.

Early access. While Google's and Meta's reviews are pending, YouTube uploads are set to private by YouTube, and Instagram works only for accounts we add as testers. Request early access.

Set up in 60 seconds

  1. 1. Connect your accounts

    Sign in to the Pushwing dashboard and click Connect on the YouTube and Instagram cards. Instagram needs a Professional (Business or Creator) account. Have several YouTube channels? Connect once per channel.

  2. 2. Add Pushwing to your AI client

    The MCP endpoint is https://mcp.pushwing.com/mcp. Clients that support OAuth just need the URL: they send you to sign in to Pushwing and approve access once.

    Claude (web & desktop)

    1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
    2. URL: https://mcp.pushwing.com/mcp
    3. Connect, sign in, approve

    ChatGPT

    1. Settings → Connectors → Create (developer mode)
    2. MCP server URL: https://mcp.pushwing.com/mcp
    3. Authentication: OAuth → Create, then sign in

    Claude Code

    claude mcp add --transport http pushwing https://mcp.pushwing.com/mcp

    Then run /mcp → pushwing → Authenticate.

    Cursor

    Add to .cursor/mcp.json, then approve the sign-in prompt.

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "pushwing": { "url": "https://mcp.pushwing.com/mcp" }
      }
    }

    Any other client (API key)

    For clients without OAuth, scripts and CI: create a key on the dashboard's Connect page and send it as a bearer token, for example through mcp-remote:

    npx -y mcp-remote https://mcp.pushwing.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer pw_YOUR_KEY"
  3. 3. Ask your assistant

    • “Upload https://…/launch.mp4 to my channel as a Short titled ‘We shipped’.”
    • “Post this video as a Reel tomorrow at 9 am with the caption …”
    • “How did my last three videos do? Reply ‘thank you!’ to the top comment.”

    Anything that goes public shows you a preview first and runs only after you confirm.

What it can do

Tools are exposed as pushwing_*. Your assistant picks them; you just describe what you want.

YouTube

  • Upload videos and Shorts, private, unlisted, public or scheduled
  • Edit title, description, tags, privacy and publish time
  • Set custom thumbnails
  • List uploads; full video details and stats
  • Read comments and reply
  • Mark AI-generated content as synthetic

Instagram

  • Publish Reels, images, carousels and Stories
  • Schedule posts (Pushwing publishes at the time you pick)
  • List your media; per-post insights
  • Read comments and reply

Media & jobs

Hand Pushwing a public URL or a small file; it stages the media for 24 hours. Uploads and posts run as jobs your assistant can check on or cancel while they are still queued. Every call shows up on the dashboard's Activity page.
